Field Trips
Study abroad with Spanish International

Throughout your stay in Mexico, guided excursions are scheduled to the most important sites in Central Mexico. These trips afford students a wealth of opportunity to enrich their understanding of Mexican history and culture through direct, "I-was-there" experience. You can begin your journey through Mexican history with a visit to the pre-Columbian ruins of Malinalco, Monte Alban, Teotihuacan, Tenochtitlan, and Xochicalco. In Mexico City, Puebla, and Taxco you can find the magnificence of Mexico's Colonial art and architecture still standing in stately glory. You can even trace the conflicts of the Mexican Revolution, the first social revolution of the 20th century. You'll want to see Montezuma's Temple Mayor, Maximillian's Castillo de Chapultepec and the site of the Ninos Heroes, as well as the birthplace of Emiliano Zapata at Cuautla. If you haven't yet felt the thrill of treading the same ground as did the ancient Aztecs, Montezuma, the explorers and conquistadores--Cortez, Jaurez, and Madero--kings and revolutionaries, then prepare for a once-in-a-lifetime jolt of history made personal. For these are the ancient people and the old, old places that make up the richly-textured and colorful tapestry of Mexico's national consciousness.

Everyone has a wonderful time during an excursion to Acapulco.

Ancient Pyramids are some of the wonders that you will see.
